Yes - fault identified, follow recommendation below. No further analysis is needed.
b.
No - go to Step 9.

Does IDS screen line E-QUIZZER DIAGNOSTIC STATE indicate a fault (one (1) in any location on line in place of zero (0))?
a.
Yes - fault identified, follow recommendation below. No further analysis is needed.
b.
No-Go to Step 10.

Does IDS screen line DESIRED LOAD compared to LOAD indicate a fault (difference is greater then 0.03)?
a.
Yes - refer to PC/ED for MAF, ECT, ACT and TP diagnosis.
b.
No - go to Step 11.

Does IDS screen line MEASURED THROTTLE ANGLE compared to DESIRED THROTTLE ANGLE indicate a fault (difference is greater then
5 degrees)?
a.
Yes - replace ETB.
b.
No - go to Step 12.

If IDS screen line ETC FF is blank (all zeros).
a.
Data may be erased by battery or PCM disconnect.
