Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

Oil Pan, Oil Pump, Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube 

Removal 

1. Remove the front axle, if equipped. 
2. Remove the stabilizer bar, if equipped. 
3. Drain the engine oil.
4. If the oil pump is to be removed, remove the timing chains.

5. Remove the components in the order indicated.
