22. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft front seal.

Discard the crankshaft front seal.
23. Remove the oil pan-to-engine front cover bolts.
24. Remove the engine front cover bolts and stud bolts.
25. Remove the engine front cover from the engine front cover-to-cylinder block dowel.

Remove and discard the engine front cover gaskets.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, power abrasive discs or other abrasive means to clean the sealing surfaces.
These tools cause scratches and gouges which make leak paths. Use a plastic scraping tool to remove all traces of old sealant. Clean the mating
surfaces with silicone gasket remover, metal surface prep and a plastic scraping tool. Follow the directions on the packaging.
