Removal
WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco, or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related components.
Highly flammable mixtures are always present and can be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
1. Disconnect the accelerator and speed control cables from the throttle body and the bracket, and position the cables aside.
2. Remove the ignition coils.
3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the supply manifold.
4. Remove the upper radiator hose and the heater hose.
5. Remove the generator upper bracket.
6. Remove the intake manifold bolts.
7. Remove the intake manifold. Tilt the manifold to slide it out from underneath the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube.
