Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair
Removal
NOTE: On vehicles with wax buildup on door outside handle, the buildup can be removed using a soft cotton cloth and Extra Strength Tar and Road
Oil Remover B7A-19520-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification EAR-M5B106-A. Wash the area with soap and water and dry thoroughly.

Remove door trim panel and watershield.
2.
Tape or otherwise protect area of door around door outside handle opening to prevent paint damage.
3.
Remove two screws retaining outside front door handle to front door, and pull outside front door handle outwards from front door.
4.
Disconnect door latch actuator rod from outside front door handle and remove door handle.
