Disconnect fuel pump electrical connector. See Figure 11.

Remove fuel tank straps retaining bolts.

Slightly lower fuel tank.

With an assistant's help, remove filler pipe from fuel tank. The filler pipe is friction fit into the fuel tank, the filler pipe will have to be walked out
of the fuel tank. See Figure 12.
