Resonator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove Engine Air Cleaner (ACL) as described.
2. Remove front fender splash shield.
3. Release the retaining clip for the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) relay at the side of the battery tray and position the powertrain control

module relay out of the way.

4. Remove retaining nut, bolts and engine intake air resonator.

 
INSTALLATION

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten upper engine air intake resonator retaining bolt to 6-7 Nm (54-61 lb in). Tighten lower retaining bolt and retaining nut to 7-9 Nm (62-79

lb in).
