Spare Tire: Service and Repair
Conventional
REMOVAL
NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with a conventional spare tire, spare wheel may differ from the road wheels if vehicle has styled wheels.
The conventional spare tire supplied with the vehicle can be used as a spare or regular tire. This tire is identical to the tires supplied with the vehicle.
1. Twist fasteners 90 degrees to vertical position.
NOTE: Conventional spare tire is located in luggage compartment except for wagon, where it is located in back of wagon.
2. Lift handle at bottom of spare tire cover to disengage retainers.
3. Pull front of spare tire cover out slightly and remove by sliding it toward front of vehicle.
4. Lift out spare tire, jack and jack handle and lug nut wrench.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
