Pump Assembly Check Ball Location
4. Remove two bolts retaining pump cover to pump housing and remove cover.
5. Remove bore ring spring by prying spring out of housing, using the cast shoulder as a leverage point.
WARNING: Use extreme caution when removing spring to prevent personal injury.
CAUTION: Place a piece of cardboard or suitable material under screwdriver to prevent damage to housing gasket surface. Do not scratch or
damage any machined surface.
6. Remove outer vane support retaining pin.
