Wiper Arm: Adjustments

1. Remove the windshield wiper arms from the windshield wiper pivot shafts.
2. Turn the multi-function switch to LO and allow the windshield wiper motor to move the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shafts three or

four cycles.

3. Turn off the multi-function switch. This will place the windshield wiper assembly in park position.
4. Install the windshield wiper pivot arm assemblies on the pivot shafts with retaining nut. Tighten nut to 30-40 Nm (22-29 Lb-Ft). Make sure tips of

wiper blade assemblies are properly positioned away from cowl vent screen.

5. If the windshield wiper pivot arms are installed to target dimensions, they will pass through the park position marks in the blackout area at the base

of the windshield.
