Rear Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
All Vehicles
1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.
3. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod from the latch.

Open the clip.
Early Build Vehicles
4. Unclip the lock rod guide and remove the guide from the bracket.
^
Discard the lock rod guide bushing.
5. Remove the two bolts and the exterior door handle.
