Sunroof / Moonroof Track: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the roof opening panel glass.

2. Move the guide bracket rearward until the lifter pin is at the top of the curved slot and remove the E-clip.

3. Rock the lifter arm to release it from the lifter pin.

CAUTION:  The lifter pin can only be removed from the top of the slot on the lifter arm.

4. Remove the roof opening panel frame cover plate.

Mark the position of the cover plate.

Remove the cover plate screws.

Remove the cover plate.

5. Slide the lifter arm rearward and remove it from the roof opening panel frame.
