Brake Lamp: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the customer concern by operating the stoplamps to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns apply:
VISUAL INSPECTION CHART
Electrical
^
Circuitry
^
Central Junction Box (CJB) fuse 217 (15A)
^
Multifunction switch
^
Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch
^
Loose or corroded connections
^
Bulbs
3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the Symptom Chart. See: Symptom Related Diagnostic
