Evaporator Case: Service and Repair
HEATER CORE AND EVAPORATOR CORE HOUSING
REMOVAL
1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to: Body and Frame, Interior Moulding/Trim, Dashboard/Instrument Panel, Service and Repair, Instrument
Panel, See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel
3. Remove the right side cowl vent screen.
4. Remove the screws and the water shield.
5. Disconnect the vacuum supply hose.
6. Clamp off and disconnect the heater hoses.
