If a vehicle exhibits a surging and/or missing condition on acceleration in 2nd or 3rd gears (warm engine) with A/C off, perform the EEC IV Diagnostic
Quick Test, If system is OK, perform the following modification procedure.
1.
Remove sight shield by removing two retaining pins and save.
