Band Apply Servo: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

SERVO TRAVEL CHECK 

NOTE:  Perform procedure only it one the following components is being replaced during assembly of the transaxle: transaxle case, band assembly,
drum and sun gear assembly, servo piston rod, servo piston, and band anchor strut.

1. Clean and assemble servo piston.

NOTE:  Do not install seals.

Installing Servo Remover/Installer Tool No. T81P-70027-A

2. Install servo installer/remover tool No. T81P-70027-A or equivalent on piston rod and position piston in case.

Installing Selection Tool No. T81P-70023-A

3. Install Selection Tool No. T81P-70023-A or equivalent and secure in case using servo cover snap ring. Torque gauge disc screw.
