Seat Belt Reminder Buzzer: Description and Operation
The system incorporates buzzer and lamp warnings. The seat belt warning lamp will illuminate for about 6 seconds after the ignition switch is tuned ON,
regardless of seat belt usage. The seat belt warning buzzer is grounded through the buckle switch of driver's seat belt.
If the driver's seat belt is not fastened, the seat belt warning buzzer will sound for about 6 seconds.
However, at the same time that the driver's seat belt is fastened, the buzzer stops. This is because the buckle switch is turned off and then the ground
current is cut.
