Amplifier: Service and Repair

Removal

NOTE: The radio amplifier is located behind the LH quarter trim panel.

1. Remove the LH quarter trim panel.
2. Remove the three screws from the radio speaker and bracket. Disconnect the radio speaker electrical connector and remove as an assembly.
3. Disconnect the radio amplifier electrical connectors.

4. Remove the four radio amplifier screws.
5. Remove the radio amplifier.

Installation 

To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the four radio amplifier screws to 1.5-1.9 Nm (13.2-16.8 lb.in.).
