Seat Track: Service and Repair
Center Seat Track
REMOVAL
1. Remove the center bucket or bench seat from the vehicle.
NOTE: The procedures for the center bucket seat tracks and the center bench seat tracks are similar.
2. Place the center bucket or bench seat upside down on a clean, sturdy workbench.
3. Remove the four seat track-to-seat support assembly bolts.
4. With the center bucket or bench seat in the fully forward position, remove the two front seat track-to-seat frame bolts.
5. Adjust the center bucket or bench seat to the fully rear position.
6. Remove the two rear seat track-to-seat frame bolts.
7. Remove the center bucket or bench seat tracks.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten the center seat track-to-seat frame bolts to 41 Nm (30 Lb Ft).
3. Tighten the center seat track-to-seat support assembly bolts to 18-31 Nm (14-23 Lb Ft).
