Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection
Lumbar/Bolster Support Switch
1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect the lumbar support switch connector.
3. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the lumbar support switch connector as indicated:
Lumbar Support Switch Position
Resistance
Fill
Less than 5 ohms
Neutral
Greater than 10,000 ohms
Release
Greater than 10,000 ohms
4. If the resistances are not as specified, replace the lumbar support switch. Otherwise, return to the pinpoint tests. See: Seats/Testing and
