Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the brake booster hose (intake manifold side) from the power brake booster check valve. Discard the hose clamp.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose (brake booster side) from the power brake booster check valve. Discard the hose clamp.
3. Remove the power brake booster check valve from the clip located on the bulkhead.

INSTALLATION

Power Brake Booster Check Valve

NOTE: Install the power brake booster check valve in the proper direction as indicated by the engine directional arrow on the power brake booster

check valve.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install using new hose clamps.
