Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect the brake fluid level switch electrical connector.

3. Remove the brake fluid level switch from the brake master cylinder reservoir.

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the brake master cylinder reservoir to remove the brake fluid level switch. The brake master cylinder

reservoir is shown removed for illustration clarity.

4. If necessary, remove the brake fluid strainer and float.
