Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Testing and Inspection
Analog Instrument Cluster
1. Let the engine cool.
2. Disconnect the water temperature indicator sender unit C150.
3. Measure the resistance between the terminal of the water temperature indicator sender unit and ground.
4. Start the engine.
5. Verify the resistances shown in the chart as the engine warms up.

6. If the resistances are not as specified, replace the water temperature indicator sender unit. If the resistances are OK, return to the Pinpoint Tests.
