Thermostat Housing: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the coolant crossover tube.
2. Remove the four thermostat housing cover bolts and the thermostat housing cover.
3. Remove the water thermostat from the thermostat housing.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten the thermostat housing cover bolts to 16-21 Nm (12-15 ft. lbs.).
