Camshaft: Adjustments

1. Remove the upper and lower engine front covers.
2. Temporarily install the crankshaft pulley bolt.

3. Turn the crankshaft sprocket clockwise until the No. 1 piston (rear right cylinder) is at Top Dead Center (TDC) on the compression stroke.

4. Verify that the timing marks on the camshaft sprockets and the seal plate are aligned. The timing marks on the crankshaft sprocket and the oil

pump housing must also be aligned.

5. If the timing marks are not aligned properly, remove the timing belt and install it properly. 
6. Install the upper and lower engine front covers.
