7. Disconnect the panel/floor/defrost door actuator control rod from the panel/floor/defrost door actuator motor and remove the panel/floor/defrost

door actuator motor and mounting bracket from the heater assembly.

8. Remove the three screws that fasten the panel/floor/defrost door actuator motor to the mounting bracket and remove the bracket from the

panel/floor/defrost door actuator motor.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Recalculation/Fresh

REMOVAL

1. Remove the four console compartment plastic screws or the C/D changer cover plastic screws (if equipped) and the console compartment door or

the C/D changer cover.

2. Remove the plastic screw, two lower screws, two center bolts, two upper bolts and the screw at the instrument panel bracket, then separate the

glove compartment from the instrument panel. Disconnect the glove compartment striker plate catch electrical connector.

3. Remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

4. Remove the four A/C air inlet door actuator motor bracket bolts.
5. Remove the A/C air inlet door actuator motor and disconnect the A/C air inlet door actuator motor electrical connector.
6. Remove the three screws that fasten the A/C air inlet door actuator motor to the mounting bracket and remove the bracket from the A/C air inlet

door actuator motor.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Vent Door Actuator

REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear air conditioning and heating assembly.
