Compressor Clutch: Adjustments

1. Remove the A/C compressor.
2. Hold the A/C compressor in a vise equipped with soft jaws.
3. Install the Dial Indicator D78P-4201-G or equivalent on the Dial Indicator/Magnetic Base.
4. Adjust the Dial Indicator to 0 with the Dial Indicator point touching the A/C clutch.
5. Using jumper wires, supply a ground and power to the A/C clutch coil terminal to engage the A/C clutch.
6. Measure the A/C clutch travel with the Dial Indicator, replace the spacer shim if necessary.
