Compressor Shaft Seal: Service and Repair
Snap Ring Remover
Shaft Seal Replacer
Seal Protector
SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S) REQUIRED
REMOVAL
1. Remove the A/C compressor.
2. Remove the A/C clutch from the A/C compressor.
3. Remove the shaft seal felt from the nose of the A/C compressor with the O-Ring Tool T71P-19703-C.
4. Clean the inside and outside nose area of the A/C compressor to remove any excess oil and dirt.
