Interior Light Switch: Service and Repair

The front door courtesy lamp switch and the body side door courtesy lamp switch removal and installation procedures are the same.

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the courtesy lamp switch screw.
3. Pull the courtesy lamp switch from the chassis.

4. Disconnect the courtesy lamp switch electrical connector from the courtesy lamp switch.
5. Remove the courtesy lamp switch.

INSTALLATION 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
