Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit: Service and Repair
The Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) control module is located on the RH shock tower in the engine compartment.
CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Unclip and remove the DRL cover from the DRL control module.
3. Remove the two DRL control module bolts.
4. Disconnect the DRL control module electrical connector.
5. Remove the DRL control module.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten the DRL control module bolts to 5.1 Nm (45 Lb In).
