Wheel Bearing: Testing and Inspection
Preassembly Inspection
1. Wash the disassembled components prior to inspection.
2. Use the following checkpoints during inspection of the cleaned components:

Wheel Hub - Cracks, or damage to the casting.

Front Wheel Knuckle - Cracks, or damage to the casting.
^
Front Disc Brake Rotor Shield - Overall damage. Loose or improper fit.
