Evaporative Check Valve: Description and Operation
Rollover/Vent Valve
PURPOSE
The roll-over/vent valve has two purposes. It serves as a vent by allowing air and fuel vapor to exit the fuel tank and enter the carbon canister. It
will also prevent fuel from traveling through the vapor line back to the carbon canister in the event of a rollover accident.
LOCATION
It is mounted the top of the fuel tank.
