Fillpipe Restrictor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Drain the fuel tank.
2. Remove the three fuel filler neck protector bolts and the fuel filler neck protector.
3. Loosen the hose clamp from the fuel tank to filler pipe hose and slide the hose clamp toward the fuel tank.
4. Separate the fuel tank to filler pipe hose from the fuel tank filler pipe.
5. Remove the two fuel tank filler pipe bolts.
NOTE: Unseat the fuel tank filler pipe gasket by carefully pulling the fuel tank filler pipe.
6. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Align the fuel tank filler pipe and seat the fuel tank filler pipe gasket.
2. Install the two fuel tank filler pipe bolts.

Tighten the fuel tank filler pipe bolts to 4.4-5.4 Nm (39-47 lb in).
