Backup Lamp Switch: Testing and Inspection
1. Disconnect the Transmission Range (TR) switch C161 located on top of the transaxle.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals 4 and 7 of the TR switch with the gearshift lever in the positions as illustrated:
3. If the resistances are not as specified, replace the TR switch. Otherwise, return to the Pinpoint Tests. See: Lighting and Horns/Backup
