Voltage Regulator: Service and Repair
DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the four generator housing bolts.
2. Tap the generator rear housing evenly with a soft-faced hammer to separate the generator rear housing and the stator and coil assembly from the
generator front housing and the generator rotor assembly.
3. Remove the B-terminal nut and insulator from the B-terminal.
4. Remove the rectifier screw and the three voltage regulator screws.
