Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Adjustments
Liftgate Cable Latch Adjustment

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield.

3. Loosen the liftgate latch cable bracket bolt.
4. Adjust the liftgate latch cable bracket to take the excess slack from the cable.

5. Tighten the liftgate latch cable adjusting bracket bolt.

Check for correct operation of the liftgate latch.

6. Install the watershield.
7. Install the liftgate trim panel.
