Parking Brake Control: Service and Repair

Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect the parking brake switch electrical connector.
3. Position the floor carpet aside.

4. Remove the nuts and bolts from the parking brake control bracket.

5. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake control and remove the parking brake control.

Remove the front parking brake cable slug from the parking brake control.

Depress the parking brake cable end lock tabs and remove the front parking brake cable from the parking brake control.
