Using the locating tab, remove the rubber grommet from the rear of the brake/turn signal bulb socket. See Figure 2.

Remove all three (3) wire terminals from the brake/turn signal bulb socket. Discard the bulb socket. See Figure 3.
NOTE:
Make sure the wires are not twisted between the new socket and the rubber grommet. This will ensure locating the wire terminals in the correct pin
positions in the new socket.
