Fuel Injector Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the upper intake.

2. Disconnect the knock sensor and EGR valve solenoid electrical connectors.

3. Remove the fuel injection wiring harness.

Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.

Remove the fuel injector wiring harness retainers.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:  When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
