2AZ Front centre console to instrument panel cover trim.............................................................................................................................................2.5 Nm
Detach front center console to facilitate removal of console and cover trim for instrument panel.
Detach cover trims in direction (1) from instrument panel.
Detach cover trims in direction (2) from center console.
Disconnect plug connector for socket/cigarette lighter.
Remove console.
Installation: Make sure foam blocks are correctly seated between center console and cover trims.
Important: Make sure that cables are not trapped when installing the center console.

Caution: Do not pull handbrake gaiter to release from console. Handbrake gaiter clips must be released from console to enable removal.
Release handbrake gaiter clips (1) (left hand shown, right hand side is symmetrical) and move handbrake gaiter to expose cable tie (2) securing
handbrake gaiter to handbrake grip.
Remove cable tie and discard.
Install hint: Ensure cable tie is correctly positioned on handbrake gaiter and grip.
