Disregard the next instruction: Install new basic control module, just go forward by pressing the right arrow

Display will appear: There is new program version and new data version for this control unit. Depending on the control unit, programming may
last between 4-16 minutes. First programming and then data are programmed. After programming, with diagnosis program, the fault memories
have to be cleared. EWS alignment is automatically carried-out with reprogramming, then the right arrow

The next screen displays: The control module can be programmed X times, then the right arrow

Follow the command: Please enter reading mileage Entry correct?. Select: YES

DME EMS2000 Start automatic programming? Select: YES

When programming starts, the following message is displayed: EMS2000 Data programming active. Voltage terminal 30....

After successful programming, message is displayed: Programming completed. Important: Alignment must be carried out with EWS, so turn off
ignition for 25 s., then the right arrow

Turn the ignition on. Carry the alignment, select YES

At this point an erroneous message is displayed: Alignment with EWS control unit cannot be carried out. Code EWS first. Disregard this message

Important: at this point turn ignition off and perform battery reset (disconnect battery cable) for 30 seconds. After that, connect battery and start
engine.

[NEW] Then, recode EMS2000 (DME) control module: Select 3 ZCS/FA Coding.

[NEW] Select R50/R53, then the right arrow

[NEW] Select 1 Recoding, then the right arrow

[NEW] Select 95 MOTRONIC, then the right arrow.

[NEW] Follow instructions on the next screen for EMS2000 coding procedure. After coding is completed start the engine.

ESM2000 programming has been completed.
