Repeat the operation on the other two groups of wires, remove any remaining protective paper and then bring all three bunches together. Mould the
sealing material into a single cylinder around the harness.

Repeat the sealing operation on the second BC1 harness.

 
Procedure 2: (sealing material already present)

The existing sealing material must be extended in length as follows:

Apply two strips of new sealing material to encircle the original sealing material. The illustration shows the first strip being applied.

Extend the length of the sealed area by applying 4 new strips of sealing material. The illustration shows the first strip being applied.

NOTE:

the new strips must slightly overlap the original sealing material.

Repeat the sealing operation on the second BC1 harness.
