Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacing TMAP Sensor

NOTE:  Read out fault memory of EMS2000 control module, check stored fault memory, rectify faults, clear fault memory.

Turn off ignition.
Remove injector rail cover.
Remove throttle assembly.

Disconnect servo pipe from inlet manifold. Push circular ring down to release pipe (1).

Disconnect connector from TMAP sensor.
Remove screws (1) and remove sensor (2).
Replace O-rings (3).
Tightening torque: Sensor to Manifold 4 Nm.

NOTE:  Read out fault memory of EMS2000 control module, check stored fault memory, rectify faults, clear fault memory.
