51 47 314 REmoving And Installing/Replacing Carpet For Passenger Compartment

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove both front seats

-

Remove airbag control unit

-

Remove rear storage compartment holder

-

Remove both inner door sill cover strips

-

Remove rear seat

-

Remove lower trim from instrument panel

-

Remove accelerator pedal module

-

Detach side trim panels at bottom

R55 only:

-

Remove cover on left entrance

R55 with storage compartment package only:
Remove lashing eyes on left/right:

-

Unfasten screw (1)

-

Tightening torque 51 71 9AZ.

-

Remove cover (2)

-

Turn lashing eye (3) through 90° and feed out
