R56 (Cooper and Cooper S) produced up to 1/2008

SITUATION
When the seat heater reaches its maximum temperature, the customer may feel as though it is a few degrees too warm, even when set to the lowest
setting.

The seat is in fact operating to specification, but is warmer than on previous MINIs.

CAUSE
The seat heater maximum temperature settings may not be to the customer's liking.

CORRECTION
An adapter harness may be added to the seat harness to lower each of the seat heater set points.

4.

Remove approximately A=30mm of the black protective sheathing, and then remove approximately B=4mm of insulation from the end of each
wire (1).

5.

Crimp a supplied terminal connector (1) to each of the 3 wires.
