Note: 
Mark all pistons and conrods with a pen prior to removing.

Example:
Mark cylinder allocation (1) per cylinder.
Direction of arrow (2) points to camshaft drive.

Release connecting rod bolts (1).

Tighten Connecting rod bolts
1AZ Connecting rod bolts

M7x37
1. Jointing torque .................................................................................................................................................................................................  5 Nm
2. Jointing torque ...............................................................................................................................................................................................  15 Nm
3. Angle of rotation ..............................................................................................................................................................................................  130 °
Note:  Replace, wash and oil screws

Remove conrod bearing cap.

Important: 
Connecting rods and connecting rod bearing caps are denoted with the same pairing letters; mixing them up will result in engine damage.
