Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
64 51 590 Removing And Installing/Replacing Evaporator
Necessary preliminary tasks:
-
Remove heater
-
Remove heating element
Release screws (1).
Remove cover (2) with twin pipes (3) and gasket (4).
Installation:
Ensure gasket (4) is correctly seated.
Disconnect plug connection from temperature sensor (1). Release screws (2) and remove cover (3).
Remove evaporator (1).
