61 13 055 Removing And Installing/Replacing Fuse Box In Engine Compartment

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Disconnect battery negative lead

Unlock catches (1) and remove fuse box cover (2).

Release screw (1) and remove pole shoe.

Tightening torque
4AZ Battery lead to fuse box in engine compartment

R50 / R52 / R53 ................................................................................................................................................................................................  22 Nm

M8 .......................................................................................................................................................................................................  8 Nm ± 0.5 Nm
Type: R55 / R56

Release screws (2).

Tightening torque
1AZ Fuse box retaining screws in engine compartment

R50 / R52 / R53 ..................................................................................................................................................................................................  5 Nm

M6  ......................................................................................................................................................................................................................  5 Nm
Type: R55 / R56

Raise fuse box.
