Right control arm only:
Remove complete exhaust system.
Release sheet nuts (1) and screws (2).
Remove heat shield (3).
Mark position of eccentric adjustment washer to trailing arm to simplify subsequent adjustment of rear axle.
Release screw (1).
Installation:
Refit eccentric adjustment washer.
Tighten bolt connection in normal position.
Tighten lower control arm to trailing arm
Replace nut, tighten in normal position
M12 ........................................................................................................................................................................................................... 100 Nm
Slacken nut (2).
Remove screw and then remove control arm.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Tighten bolt connection in normal position.
Tighten control arm to rear axle carrier
Replace nut, tighten in normal position
M12 ........................................................................................................................................................................................................... 100 Nm
After installation:
