Transmission Cooler: Service and Repair
24 11 040 Removing and installing/replacing transmission fluid cooler (AISIN)
Important!
After completion of work, check transmission fluid level.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!
Important!
No dirt is allowed to enter the oil circuit.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Drain coolant
^
Remove intake filter housing
^
Remove intake filter housing boot.
Unfasten hose clips.
Detach coolant hoses (1) from transmission fluid cooler.
Release screw (1).
Tighten AISIN screw connection, oil cooler
M12 ................................................................................................................................................................................................................... 35 Nm
Note: Screw
Installation:
Pay attention to position lug (2).
